Types
Of Haunting
Residual Haunting
This
is said to be the most common type .It cycles itself over and over again repeating itself in a loop. Often times this haunting
follows some type of schedule. (more often a tragic death)
Intelligent Haunting
In this type the ghost / spirit is aware of it’s surroundings.
The ghost/spirit will communicate with the living and interact with its surroundings. (slamming doors , footsteps , voices,
moving objects ) It will also manifest itself so it can be seen .
Demonic
Haunt
This is the least common and documented
types.
It is thought that a demon has never had a human form nor is
a demon from this world. A demon has extraordinary strength and has been said to throw people through the air and attack.
A demon can take on any type of shape and it is thought that the demons reason for existence
is to breakdown a person emotionally so as that they can possess the person.
This type of haunting can be identified by horrible odors, the sounds of growling throughout the area being
haunted and the affected people reporting being struck, pushed, scratched or subjected to some type of physical contact.
Poltergeist Haunting
Poltergeist is translated to mean "noisy ghost". This is because they are known for the loud noises, bangs
and movement of objects that they can create. A poltergeist is often associated with a single person within a household and
has been reported to follow that person to other locations. They are often associated with people who are going through some
type of emotional trauma. They appear and disappear quickly, without explanation. Some have been reported to last a very long
time, even years, while others are very short lived. The main thing that separates this type of haunting from others, is it's
ability to move objects. Floating objects, things tossed violently across rooms and more have been described. Some people
have reported being harmed by a poltergeist and many associate the above mentioned demonic infestation with a poltergeist,
while others believe that they are two completely different things.
